1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting the SakanFix website (the "Site"), registering as a user, or interacting with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our platform. SakanFix ("we", "us", "our") reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Services

SakanFix is a home services platform operating in the United Arab Emirates that connects customers ("Clients") with independent service providers ("Providers"). We provide a digital marketplace where users can discover, compare, and connect with verified professionals for services such as plumbing, cleaning, AC maintenance, electrical work, handyman services, and more. SakanFix does not directly perform any home services and is not a party to any agreement between Clients and Providers. We facilitate introductions and provide communication tools but do not guarantee the outcome or quality of any service performed.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use certain features (e.g., registering as a Provider), you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it promptly. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. SakanFix reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

4. Provider Terms & Representations

If you register as a service provider, you represent that you have all necessary licenses, permits, insurance, and qualifications required to perform the services you offer. You agree that:

• You will provide services with professional care, skill, and in compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
• You are solely responsible for your interactions with Clients, including pricing, invoicing, and dispute resolution.
• SakanFix does not guarantee any minimum number of leads or bookings.
• You authorize SakanFix to publicly display your business name, service categories, description, and portfolio (as provided) on the platform.
• You will not misrepresent your qualifications, license status, or previous work.

5. Client Terms & Responsibilities

As a Client using SakanFix to find service providers, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for verifying the credentials, insurance, and quality of any Provider before hiring them.
• Any agreement, payment, or scope of work is between you and the Provider directly. SakanFix is not a party to those transactions.
• You agree to provide accurate information about your service needs and cooperate with Providers in good faith.
• You will not use the platform to engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

We encourage Clients to review Provider profiles, ratings, and past work before making a hiring decision.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the SakanFix Site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, video clips, and software, is the property of SakanFix or its content suppliers and is protected by UAE and international copyright laws. The SakanFix name, logo, and related marks are trademarks. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any material without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., business descriptions, photos), but grant SakanFix a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the platform.

7. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

When using SakanFix, you agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any code that may harm the platform.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Circumvent any technical measures or access restricted areas without authorization.
• Use robots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract data without our permission.
• Engage in any activity that violates UAE laws, including consumer protection or data privacy regulations.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of access and legal action where appropriate.

8. Fees & Payments

SakanFix currently does not charge Clients or Providers for basic platform access. However, we reserve the right to introduce fees for premium features, lead generation, or service bookings after providing notice. Any fees will be clearly communicated. Payments between Clients and Providers are handled directly and are not processed through SakanFix unless explicitly stated otherwise. You are solely responsible for any taxes, fees, or charges applicable to your transactions.

9. Third-Party Links & Integrations

The Site may contain links to external websites or services (e.g., payment gateways, social media). SakanFix does not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You access such links at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• SakanFix provides the platform "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• SakanFix is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of these Terms shall not exceed AED 500 or the total amount paid by you to SakanFix (if any) in the preceding 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SakanFix, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the platform; (c) any services you provide or receive as a Provider or Client; (d) your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SakanFix at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Sections regarding intellectual property, indemnification, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive termination.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and applicable federal laws. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of SakanFix shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. For users outside the UAE, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of Dubai courts.

14. Privacy & Data Use

Your use of SakanFix is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to such data practices.
